ABOUT EDN

EDN has grown from a three-person start-up FAA Repair Station focusing on minor panel repairs and avionics installations, in 1990, to a modern, highly qualified manufacturer of high volume, production orders of panels and sub-assemblies for all models of commercial and military aircraft platforms. We are proud of the technical integrity we have continually maintained over the past twenty-four years with our many customers. During each contract that we have performed, we have emphasized technical and management vision and courage to think and work “outside the box” to meet difficult customer goals and objectives in assuring strict compliance with all technical, schedule and cost imperatives. Our customer satisfaction models continuously provide evidence that the EDN standards of quality, coupled with the shortest turn-around times in the industry, consistently secures our market position above and beyond our competitors.

Today, within our secure 17,000 square foot facility in Van Nuys, California, EDN possess the latest in manufacturing equipment and precision machinery. Our range of capabilities has been dramatically expanded to include the in-house manufacturing of production orders. The foundation of our manufacturing, production, and quality capabilities is based upon a small, but dedicated team focused upon detailed program management and project execution.

Our quality assurance department is staffed with highly qualified professionals operating annually calibrated, precision measuring and test equipment. EDN holds a multitude of quality assurance certifications, including AS9100D with ISO 9001:2015, FAA Certified Repair Station, and EASA Part 145. EDN complies with all Anti-drug and alcohol standards in accordance with FAA requirements, and multiple client-based guidelines.

EDN supports each customer, with a full complement of customer service representatives. The charter of the customer service staff is to assure prompt response times, expedited problem solving, and open lines of communication.
